Ms Carri Lockhart

Appointed 3 November 2025.

Ms Lockhart has more than 30 years of global experience in the energy industry and has a proven track record in driving corporate strategic growth, leading large-
scale operations, and managing complex projects. Ms Lockhart’s most recent executive role was as Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President – Technology, Digital and Innovation for Equinor ASA, based in Oslo. Prior to this, Ms Lockhart held several VP roles at Equinor ASA in development and production, with geographical responsibilities spanning the Americas, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, India and Australia. Before Equinor, Ms Lockhart worked for Marathon Oil Company in a range of technical and management roles.

She has been recognised as one of Hart’s Oil and Gas Investor’s 25 Influential Women in Industry and named among the Energy Council’s Top Female Executives.
She is also actively involved in the University of Houston Energy Advisory Board and the Society of Petroleum Engineers.

She is currently a member of the board of directors of Williams Companies Inc (NYSE: WMB) and Innovex International Inc (NYSE: INVX) and the management committee of Ascent Resources LLC. She has agreed with Karoon that she will gradually reduce her non-executive director roles.

Mr Ray Church

Ray has more than 36 years of international experience in finance roles, with a track record in delivering enhanced business performance, mergers and acquisitions, and the management of broad and complex finance teams. He is a highly adaptive leader, having worked in a wide range of jurisdictions including in the United States, Papua New Guinea, Kazakhstan, Russia and China, as well as Europe and Australia.

Ray has more than two decades of oil and gas experience, having previously held the position of Vice President, Finance at TNK-BP and a variety of senior finance and commercial roles at Chevron Corporation. Ray was also the Chief Financial Officer at UGL Limited. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Chartered Accountant.

Mr Marco Brummelhuis

Appointed 24 June 2024

Mr. Brummelhuis has over three decades of experience in the oil and gas industry with Shell and its affiliates. He has held roles in Planning and Strategy, Finance, Asset/Field Development, Change Management, Joint Venture Governance/Management and New Business Development. Over his career, he has held multiple roles in South America, including Global Business Improvement Manager (based in Brazil and the Netherlands), General Manager Development Non-Operated Pre-Salt Ventures (Brazil), Integration Manager Shell Brazil with BG, Vice President Development South America (Brazil), Project Manager Gas-to-Liquids Tierra del Fuego (Argentina) and Transition Lead Shell Venezuela.

Mr Brummelhuis holds a PhD in Physics and Mathematical Sciences from Leiden University and is proficient in seven languages, including English and Portuguese. He holds permanent residency in Brazil.

Mr Stephen Power

Appointed July 2014

Mr Stephen Power is a commercial lawyer with more than 35 years’ experience advising clients in the energy and resources industry in Australia and overseas, including South America, North America, West Africa and the UK.

Mr Power has extensive experience in negotiating various commercial aspects of resource companies including farm-in negotiations, joint ventures, M&A and equity raisings. Mr Power played an instrumental role in Karoon’s acquisition of Karoon’s Baúna asset from Petrobras.

Mr Roland Hamp

Appointed 1 March 2023

Mr Hamp has more than 35 years’ experience in the oil and gas sector, holding various technical and management positions in the UK and Australia, primarily with Enterprise Oil plc and Woodside Energy Ltd. Most recently he was a technical and operations advisor to the Department of Industry, Science and Resources, the Commonwealth Government of Australia, on a range of offshore matters. He is a fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia and has been a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers since 1983.

Mr Hamp holds a Master of Engineering degree from Imperial College, London (with 1st class honours). He has also attended executive training programs at Thunderbird International Business School, the University of Western Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Mr Daniel Murnane

Appointed 8 December 2022.

Daniel has more than 16 years’ experience gained in Australia and internationally, including over 12 years advising resources companies. He has worked as a senior associate in private legal practice predominately for energy companies on mergers and acquisitions, major projects, capital raisings and commercial disputes.

In addition, Daniel has held various in-house roles spanning legal and corporate governance environments, including with ASX and NYSE listed oil and gas companies.

Daniel is qualified as a solicitor in New South Wales and Papua New Guinea and holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws.
